How do I enable/disable mods in my modpack?

Some modpacks (like FTB) come with several mods disabled by default, while others (like Resonant Rise) come with a lot of optional mods enabled by default.

You might want to enable or disable some mods on your modpack. Doing so is pretty simple. Just follow these steps:

1. Stop your server.
2. Log into your server directory with an FTP client (either the built in your panel, or a client like FileZilla)
3. Navigate into the "mods" folder
4. Find the mods you want and rename them. To disable a mod rename from Modname.jar (or .zip) to Modname.jar.disabled (or .zip.disabled). To enable a mod just do the opposite. Rename .jar.disabled to .jar
5. Start your server.
